The New England Revolution re-signed goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth to a new contract Thursday.
The 25 year old has started two of the Revolution's four games so far this year, allowing a goal in both games.
"We see (Bobby) as a pretty good player in this league- he's shown that and continues to show that," Revolution Head Coach Jay Heaps told Full Volley.
Terms of the goalkeepers new deal were not released per club policy.
Shuttleworth played collegiately at the University of Buffalo before catching New England's eye while with the Austin Aztex of the United Soccer League.
He is expected to continue to compete with Matt Reis for minutes between the posts.
"We wanted to make sure we have depth at goalkeeper for years to come," Heaps concluded
